Students afraid

THE EDITOR: My name is Msrah Jankey, and I am a 16-year-old boy and I attend a secondary school in the east. I am worried about the violence in school, because I am afraid that I might be a victim of it. For the past term I have been a witness of many stabbings, fightings and quarrels.

This violence starts when you are doing the wrong things in school such as gambling, breaking classes, not listening to your teacher etc. As a young boy I find that most parents should be blamed for not watching and teaching their children the correct thing. I think for the violence to slow down or stop, it should begin with the parents.
