Teacher found stabbed to death in Chaguanas

A Valsayn Teachers’ College teacher was found murdered in his home at Wilkinson Boulevard, Orchard Gardens in Chaguanas late yesterday.

Neighbours were alerted by a foul stench coming from the home of Keith Chadee, 40, and called police at about 6 pm. Chadee’s body was found with a stab wound to the chest. The man was last seen alive last week Friday by his neighbour Orwin Kerr, an attorney, but police sources said they believed he was dead for about two days. A party of police officers, led by ASP Millette, Insp Raphael and Ag Sgt Ajith Persad, went to the scene along with the DMO Dr Ray Choudry. A post-mortem is scheduled to be performed on Monday.
