Businessmen need guns, too

THE Editor: Having read the statement given to the police by Shaun Parris in which he said “ At that time people was coming into the compound. I know at that time I had to get out as no shots in the gun I was totally defenceless.”  Police Officers  carry guns to defend themselves from the bandits, also boy children who pose as security guards are given guns to protect themselves from intruders. So my point is, Bandit, Police and every Tom, Dick and Harrylal are given guns to defend themselves but the businessman who is an employer and contributes to the society is left defenceless. We need guns too.
