Family still looking for ‘Chuck’
ALTHOUGH he has been missing for exactly two years, the family members of Diego Martin mechanic Ralph “Chuck” Rajcoomar are still looking for answers to put their minds to rest.
“All we want to know is whether he is alive or dead to rest our conscience,” Pearl Rajcoomar, his older sister told Newsday. “We supplied the police with information when he disappeared but since then we have heard very little.” However, she did confirm that police visit the home regularly and even took a new statement two months ago.
“Chuck was not involved in drugs, crime or romance, so we are concerned whether he could have been abducted and if not, why he is hiding,” continued Pearl. “As brothers and sisters we were very close and would just like to know what really became of our brother.”
According to reports, the father of one was last seen around 6 pm that day on his way to Port-of-Spain to deliver a car to a client. Earlier that day, he had an argument with a man who wanted to do a job in Arima. He has not been seen since. Chuck would have been 42 years old next month and his son Garfield is now 19. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ralph Rajcoomar are asked to contact the West End Police Station or call 637-7676
