Boodramsing lands ARC four-timer

The teenager rider won half the card on Arima Race Club Day 4 at Santa Rosa Park, Arima, yesterday.

And all his winning rides came astride horses trained by his guv’nor champion trainer John O’Brien.

Boodramsing started his quartet of victories astride Ignmition Coil in the day’s second race, and returned to the winner’s enclosure in the fifth with Fleet Admiral. He landed Pistons And Rings in the sixth frame before closing off the day with victory aboard Lawbreaker in the co-feature finale.

Overwhelming favourite Lawbreaker broke smartly and was in the lead after about 200 metres and continued to make the balance of the running, shaking off a challenge from Wild Shuffle inside the final 400 metres.

And Boodramsing featured in the biggest Hi5 dividend of the day, when he guided the previously disappointing Pistons And Rings, beating Movie For Ronnie with Cordell Walker third, King Of Siberia fourth and Sam’s Selection fifth.

Lucky Hi5 punters were rewarded with a dividend of $10,941.80.

The day saw both apprentice champion of last season Kiran Razack and Stanley Chadee Jr opening their season account.

Razack got Majestic Gold home first in the day’s opener and Chadee was astride Strategic Silence.
