Ex-D/Force challenge Top Cops

FOLLOWING Tuesday’s “Soca vs Samba” football treat, local fans will have the opportunity of seeing ex-Strike Squad stars in action one more time at the annual Past/Present Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force vs Top Cops extravagaza.

The game will kick off at 2 pm today at the Woodbrook Youth Facility, and will be under the patronage of Chief of Defence Staff Brigadier Ancil Antoine, ex-chief Brigadier General Carl Alfonso, Brigadier General John Sandy and Commodore Anthony Franklyn. Among the ex-Strike Squad men on parade will be Hutson “Barber” Charles, Kerry Jamerson, Dexter “Peck” Francis and Dexter Lee, along with Ron La Forest, Errol McFarlane, James “Session” Balfour, Winston “Bee” Phillips and Philbert Prince. They will take on Top Cops for the Bert Neptune/Ronnie Charles Trophy. Awards are also to be presented to former players for their contributions to both Trinidad and Tobago and Defence Force.
