Gypsy insulted again

THE EDITOR: Once again charismatic calypsonian Gypsy was subjected to a barrage of obstructionist behaviour and hatred last weekend in San Fernando.

He had to face the wrath of the masses all because of the choices he has made; choices to be progressive, positive and to enlighten. It is imponderable that this is the lawlessness that exists in TT in the 21st century. There must be some satanic influence hanging over the heads of these people at Skinner Park, to cause them to act so belligerently as if saturated with ignorance. It defies common sense and level-headedness. Spirituality and morality are sadly absent in these constituents. 

The toilet paper brigade may feel that they have accomplished something great, but they are only fooling themselves. Gypsy showed his resilience and impregnability by carrying on with his performance. After all, he is an entertainer par excellence. All the constituents have done is make a fool of themselves and bring shame and disgrace on their heads, and their children’s heads.
