Forgenie tricks Barrackpore

Twenty-nine-year-old school teacher Amin Forgenie taught United Barrackpore a cricket lesson when he grabbed a hat-trick in their South East Zonal Division I cricket match at Penal Rock Road.

Moruga Cricket Club scored 199 for eight wickets in 33 overs, with Joseph George hitting 54. United Barrackpore were then routed for 95 with Dudnath Ramnath topscoring with 37. Forgenie finished with the remarkable figures of three wickets for one run including the hat-trick. On Saturday, Forgenie was again in top form leading his team to a 60-run victory over Victoria United at Penal Rock Road. After scoring 42 runs in his team’s 226 for six wickets off 35 overs, Forgenie  took four wickets for 22 runs to help shoot out Victoria for 166.
