Lewis heads TTNA organising committee

EVERGREEN sporting administrator Lystra Lewis has been named as an adviser to the Organising Committee for the forthcoming Caribbean Netball Championships.

The championships under the auspicies of the Caribbean Netball Association are scheduled to be held here from July 31 to August 10. The committee will be headed by Sandra Basheer, who also served as the head of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 2001 FIFA Under-17 World Championships. And representatives of the Trinidad and Tobago Netball Association, the Caribbean Netball Association and the Ministry of Sport met recently at the Eastern Regional Sports Complex, Tacarigua, to finalise arrangements for the tournament.
