Tranquil tennis next month

IVOR GRAZETTE and Brittany Delaney are expected to defend their individual crowns at the annual Citigroup/Tranquillity Open tennis tournament.

The competition will run from March 13-27 at the Tranquillity Tennis Club, Victoria Avenue, Port of Spain. But the preliminary rounds of matches will be held on March 6 and 7. Among the categories in the two-week long event are the respective men’s and women’s singles and doubles, mixed doubles, veterans’ singles and veterans’ doubles. Deadline for registering is March 3 with entry forms available at the Tranquillity Club and Harry’s Sports World, 30 St James Street, San Fernando.
