Hundreds jump up in Tobago Jouvert

THE STREETS of Scarborough, Tobago, were overflowing with revellers, including a small section of tourists, Monday morning as Jouvert launched two days of Carnival celebrations on the island.

Although there were reports of violent incidents, most attributed to a gang feud, that failed to dampen the spirit of revelry. For many, the morning climaxed with a cool jump up behind the Kenneth Ottley Mason Hall Wet and Wine Water Jouvert band.
