Beware of kidnappers, Chalkie

The Editor: Congratulations to the Mighty Chalkdust for taking the first prize in the Calypso Monarch competition at the Dimanche Gras Show. However, Mr Liverpool should be very careful from now on as I fear the tidy sum of money that he won may entice the kidnapping fraternity. These bizarre kidnappers and Cro Cro’s bandit friends may feel that they can restore the economy if they can get their hands on that prize money. So Mr Chalkie, please be on your guard and always look over your shoulder. Don’t feel for a minute that just because you had Cro Cro on the Dimanche Gras stage with you and you hugged him up, will let you off the hook.

I personally don’t trust Cro Cro and if Mr Chalkdust has any bank accounts in the US and Cro Cro’s friends find out, they will surely implement his advice to “ kidnap them!” On the other hand, perhaps I am being paranoid. After all, Chalkdust did say that Cro Cro really didn’t mean to “ kidnap them.” So, please don’t worry Chalkie.
