Veterans score in Lendore football

VETERANS, led by ex-Strike Squad skipper Clayton Morris, drubbed Extra Foods 5-2 as action in the Lendore Sports Club Football League continued. Jerome Salandy scored a double, Roger Lawrence, Cion John and Morris added one each for the winners, while Joseph Bennett and Stephen St Louis got goals for Extra Foods in Sunday’s match. But Longdenville In Action and First Choice played to a 1-1 draw. Gaston Daniel got the goal for the Longdenville men, while Rudffion Harris equalised for First Choice. In a lone Saturday match, Ball Runners edged Jordan Trace 2-1 on goals by C Hope and S Francois.  W John netted for the losing team.
