Any news on abandoned baby?

THE EDITOR: I am a Trinidadian who has been living in New York for the past 30 years. I do visit Trinidad quite often. My last visit was for Carnival 2004. I was reading your newspapers where I read that a baby girl was found covered in ants and left to die in the bushes. That makes me upset. I have two boys of my own, but I would have liked to have a girl, and God did not give it to me, because he knows best. Is this baby up for adoption? Please let me know.
