A different view on AIDS

THE EDITOR: I bet they thought they got away with it. They, the coveted misleaders of a people so dependent and loyal — a people painfully disillusioned by the glossy appearance and eloquent speech of their politically enthused masters. They, the entrapped Government of our Twin-Island Republic, the UN and its newly recruited and assigned AIDS doctors, Western Relief Organisations and other known and unknown proprietors of the so-called HIV/AIDS pandemic. They, the employers of systemised conditioning, hogwash and blatant bullying to relentlessly and forcibly convince a people of the prospect of certain death if they failed to adhere to the teachings and worship the figurehead operatives of  an imposed “safe sex” regime. Oh yes!  They must have well and truly thought that it was done - that all creases were wiped and all stones turned. Sorry to stop the music, but this script reads differently.

So what shall we call this bold and urgent letter? Turn of the tide maybe. What is certain, is that it is not a half hearted plea for listener ship nor a request. We now owe critical attention and submission to these the enclosed hidden factors of national regional and foreign boondoggle-agency agendas, accompanied by dreadfully swindled sciences and scientists pertaining to the continuous propagation of HIV/AIDS in Trinidad and Tobago. Such was the successful general mind destruction wreaked by the crash course-type “compulsory state education” with little or no relative information pertaining to HIV/Aids, that we now stand as victims and mourners of a well orchestrated Government programme that even the likes of the celebrated Dr Morgan Job have failed to question, or even dare to comment on.

Grab a cold Malt, find a comfortable seat in the shade and comb this relentless proliferation of disinformation with very fine teeth, and watch your world view about the “mass propagated” valour of HIV/AIDS change right before your very eyes. Should we firstly recollect that Dr Robert Gallo, who had announced (in coalition with then US Health Secretary Margaret Heckler) on April 23, 1984 that he’d discovered the virus responsible for AIDS, namely HIV, and then we found out this was not so! Or perhaps you would prefer to examine the new ambitious plan to bring AIDS treatment to thousands in the Caribbean, hailed by the World Health Organisation and UN Secretary Kofi Annan? Did we ever question this forged missionary-like consensus? Was it mutually em-barked upon by all fund/loan parties and representatives of the so-called beneficiaries, or was it imposed?

Do you remember when, in sudden fashion, our schools and colleges became curriculmised with evangelic-like teachings of “safe se” education? Our TV screens infiltrated with explosive bursts of campaigns that propelled us to an almost mind-boggling state of fear? If AIDS, as it recorded by acclaimed scientists and res-earchers, is a collection and reclassification of old sicknesses such as MS, measles, Hodgkin’s disease, leukaemia and meningitis, and the regulated test being used to determine if someone is “HIV-positive” is actually a test that detects antibodies to the virus (an indication that the immune system has successfully neutralised the virus and rendered it harmless), then why the continuous overblown sex culture scare? As medical record books have it, to this day, “Not even one scientific study has been done and published that demonstrates a causative link between the HIV virus and the ‘AIDS-defined diseases,’ let alone a sexually transmitted one.”
