Stingers outscore Atletico in UWI

RICARDO ALEONG scored a beaver-trick as Carlsberg Stingers trounced Atlectico 8-4 on opening day of the UWI Employees Super Football League action  at the UWI Grounds, St Augustine on Saturday. Don Morris, Kirth Hutchinson and Edison Gift scored the other goals for Stingers in Saturday’s match, while Clint Raymond netted a pair for Atlectico, with Orac Martin and A Herchet adding one each. San Diego Park United eased past Ocean View Samba Youths 3-0 with goals from David, Christian and Kareem Freitas.

And on Sunday, Honved inflicted a 4-1 beating on Cruz International with goals from Gary John, Jerry Jack, Jason Charles and Dwight Critchlow while Anderson Chandler got the lone reply. Student Activity Centre (SAC) thrashed GEMS 4-1 on Tuesday. Shatone Olliverre had two goals for SAC with one apiece from Jesse De Four and Tosca Bartholomew, while Nigel Dennis found the back of the net for GEMS.
