Aranguez Under-15s win in PYM cricket

ARANGUEZ were in winning form when action in the Progressive Youth Movement Under-15 Cricket League got underway. First they bowled out Barataria for a West Indies-like 47, with Vishal Ball claiming four wickets for 15 runs and Javid Boodram two for two. Then the Aranguez lads reached 49 for five wickets with Shane Narine steadying the innings with 12 runs.  Keeshan Seelal took two wickets for six runs.

In the other match on Saturday last, Mison EYM scored a comprehensive eight-wicket victory over Silver Mill. Silver Mill were ripped out for 78 in 19 overs with Voss Singh topscoring with 10.  Sahid Mohammed took three wickets for 12 runs. Aaron Alfred scored an unbeaten 27 and Someer Mohammed 28 not out to steer Mison EYM to 79 for two. Action continues on Saturday when Progressive Sport take on Success/ Laventille at San Rafael, Brazil.
