Want to play for Joe Public?

PLAYERS interested in playing for the Joe Public football teams are now presented with perfect opportunities to offer themselves. The “Eastern Lions,” who will compete in the 2004 Super League instead of the T&T Pro League, will also be participating in the Eastern Football Association (EFA). Trials for the Super League squad will take place from Mondays to Fridays at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Tunapuna, starting at 9 am.
Sessions for the EFA team will be held at the neighbouring Constantine Park on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4.30 pm. And aspiring women footballers will not be left out, as the Joe Public Women’s Team are also looking for interested members, with training stints at the Marvin Lee Stadium on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4.30 pm.
