Tots and Tumblers top gymnastics
Tots and Tumblers Gym-nastic Club’s recent first Invita-tional Meeting attracted the participation of 108 gymnasts, including 31 newcomers in the Pre-Compet-itive Category. The hosts dominated the higher levels winning the All Around Trophy in all but one level. First place in Level 3 was picked up by Olympia Gymnastics who also copped second place in Level 2. St Andrew’s Gymnastics were third in Level 3.
Russha and Thema Williams started their season on a high note as they both took gold in their events on the day. Thema, the younger of the two is keen to compete in the Pan American Gymnastic Inter Club Junior Championships carded for El Salvador in October. The younger gymnasts competed with enthusiasm and confidence and were awarded certificates, ribbons, trophies and “goodie bags” for their great efforts on the floor. Tots and Tumblers faced stiff competition from St Andrews Gymnas-tics, Olympia Gymnastics, Mucurapo Girls Gymnastics, and Lambert School of Dance and Gymnastics.
