Lara the most talented batsman

THE EDITOR: Please grant me space in the best newspaper in the world,  Newsday to congratulate our hero Mr Brian Lara. Congratulations to King Lara. He is the greatest batsman ever. We Trinbagonians are proud to have a sportsman as talented as him. He shows us what greatness is made of — patience, tolerance, commitment, determination and discipline — all this he has in his approach to the game of cricket. Four hundred runs in one inning at his age, (34) is really God given talent. I wonder what Mr Colin Croft is saying now? He can’t fit in Mr Lara’s shoes. Hooray to Brian Charles Lara, and a big, big, boo to Mr Croft. I predict in two to three years the West Indies team will be the champion in the world.
