Movietowne Magic totes 57.5 kilos

MOVIETOWNE MAGIC will tote the top impost of 57.5 kilos in the Restricted Handicap on the Arima Race Club Day 12 “Friday Lime” programme at Santa Rosa Park, Arima, on Friday. The Glenn Mendez-trained colt whose last racecourse appearance was in the Betting Levy Board Stewards Cup Stakes on December 13, will not be in such elite company in this 1300 metres event on the “Friday Lime”. Owned by Derek Chin, the four-year-old will have 10 rivals in the extended sprint worth $21,000.

Moveietowne Magic will be handing out weight all around, from two kilos to Naturelly Classy to 13.5 kilos to bottomweight Isle Be There. Following the top two at the weights are Squee Zintru, Gaza Strip and Undisputed. Squee Zintru who changed hands through the claiming system after scoring   in an Optional Claimer last raceday, was handed 52.5 kilos, and Undisputed, who followed him home and Gaza Strip are set to carry .5 of a kilo less. Completing the line-up are imports Lovely Honoree, Crimson Tower and creoles Bon Voyage, Maid Of Honour, and Lady Rossie.
