Another $230,000 in refunds handed out
The West Indies Cricket Board ticket office gave out an additional $230,000 in refunds for tickets for the cricket matches over the weekend. Both matches were washed out and patrons attending Saturday were to be given half their money back. Those who showed up on Sunday were given a 100 percent refund.
Yesterday the official in charge, Cutty Nimblett said that a total of $230,000 were handed out yesterday and most of the patrons showing up yesterday were armed with their tickets for the third One-Day International that was due to be played on Sunday. Today refunds will be available but the office at the Queen’s Park Oval will be closed tomorrow to facilitate a rally for former South African President Nelson Mandela.
