WASA gets $40M boost

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) and the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (TTEC) recently received cheques amounting to more than $40 million from the Minister of Public Utilities. According to a release, the cheques were given out under the National and Social Development Programme (NSDP) which aims to provide amenities towards improving the quality of life and standard of living of the people of TT. WASA received $40 million while TTEC received $14.3 million.
