Hair salon gutted in St James

A hair dressing salon at the corner of Ethel and Borde Streets in St James was destroyed by fire at around 4 pm yesterday. Reports revealed that fire was seen coming from the building, which houses the salon, the Cornerstone Apostic Church and a vacant office. When fire officers from the Wrightson Road Fire Department arrived on the scene, the salon was already destroyed. Neither the church nor the vacant office were destroyed by the fire. Officers of the St James Police Station are investigating.
