Cordner snares hat-trick for Invincible Club
LEFT-ARM pace bowler Dexter Cordner snared a hat-trick in the North Zone Division Two competition over the weekend. Playing for Invincible Cricket Club, Cordner captured four for 14 off 12 overs including the hat-trick. He was ably supported by left-arm spinner Francis Joseph who also captured four wickets for 15 runs in 13 overs as Paragon crashed to 61 all out at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port-of-Spain on Saturday.
When play ended on Saturday, Invincible had reached 51 for two with Renaldo Regis not out on 25. However, Paragon failed to turn up on Sunday and the match was awarded to Invincible. The umpires for the encounter were Rasheed Khan and David Lee Young.
