Dean’s image of Lara faulty

THE EDITOR: Four hundred (400) whacks for Brian says Nigel Dean in a letter to the editor. This dean sees Lara as an ungrateful “Prince” because Lara went to Penal and showered praises on Panday. Hear this clown, “Lara got endless gifts, including a two day celebration, an ambassadorship, $400,000 of travel on BWIA” from the Prime Minister and the beloved PNM. To make matters more stupid he said that after all those gifts Lara turned against them (PNMites). This Dean is a mook. Every taxpayer has a hand in the gifts given to Lara be they UNC, NAR, NJAC or whatever. Dean would not understand that the materialistic gifts Lara received when he made 375 from Dean’s party was no match to the gift of love, understanding, care, concern Lara received and appreciates still from Panday. A gift of a lifetime.

Dean, remember what Wendy received from the UNC when she won the Miss Universe title? No? She received what nobody can take from her - Education ie the opportunity to make her qualified in a career of choice. You cannot appreciate that because you are from the gimme, PNM till ah dead syndrome. Remember what Penny and Crawford received from your PNM Dean? Their names on aircrafts Dean! Where are those aircrafts man! Your PNM sold them! That is gift for your money. Lara is not my choice of an ideal person but he does not deserve the 400 whacks on his bottom as you suggest, you should get the whacks until Lara is out.
