‘Crabs’ claw Samba Youths

CRAB CONNECTION clawed Ocean View Samba Youths 5-0 to advance in the UWI Employees Super Football League knockout. And Economy Strikers also struck five goals past ECI Park Dreads without reply to also go forward in the same series. Other big winners were Medi Sci Invitees who drubbed Islamic Research Society 4-0 and El Tucuche who also won 4-0 over Standard Distributors. Warren Butler scored two goals for The Crabs, while Kevin Baptiste, Marvin Oliver and Jarvis Trim got the other goals. G Sampson netted four goals and G Lander the other for Economy Strikers.

Medi Sci Invitees got a double from Stephen Poteas and other goals from Okpe Odogwa and K J Mitchell. TSTT shut out Ambassadors 2-0 in Over-40 Division actin, with Michael Mannette getting both goals, and Moosai Sports edged Pioneer Defence Force 4-3 in their game. But Memphis Girls and UWI Girls played to a 1-1 draw in the Women Division, with Kernica Alexander scoring for Memphis, while Marsha Matamoro got the goal for UWI.
