Fatima crowned St George West track & field champs

FATIMA COLLEGE have been  declared the overall champions at the St George West Zonal competition during a ceremony held  at the Schools’ Supervisor Office, Belmont. Fatima were also named as the champion boys’ school on Thursday. Bishop Anstey High School were adjudged as the champion girls and Diego Martin Junior Secondary the winners of the co-ed category.


Among the boys, individual winners were Keron Baptiste of Queen’s Royal College, in the Under-14 division; Fatima’s Garvin Nero in the Under-15s; Kervin Morgan of D/Martin Junior, in the Under-17s; and Carlan Arthur of Mucurapo Senior, in the Under-20 division. Alena Harriman was the top girl in the Under-14s while Diego Martin Government Secondary schoolmate Khriste Benjamin got top honours in the Under-15s.


The Bishop Anstey twosome of Sade St Louis and Caleigh Benjamin were joint winners in the Under-17s with Abigail David, a student of the Downer’s Finishing School, was the leading competitor in the Under-20s. Khriste Benjamin, who was given the Most Outstanding Performance award, was the Victrix Ludorum with 34 points while Nero was the Victor Ludorum with 30 points.
