B-ball champs NFM face Trailblazers

North Zone Basket-ball League Division One champions National Flour Mills (NFM), will open this year’s campaign against Trailblaz-ers tomorrow. NFM will be hard to beat this season, having won the title a record eight times — 1992, 1994, 1996, 1998 to 2001. They are also the defending champs. The match is carded for 8 pm at the St Paul’s Street Sport Complex and is  the second of  a double-header.

The other match is a  Division Two clash between TSTT and Off Limits at 6.30 pm which will serve as the opening fixture of the new league competition. The women take the St Paul’s Street court on May 30 when Defence Force, the defending champs and two time-winners meet 2001 runners up NFM Women at 4.30 pm. The men will be back on action on Wednes-day with Trailblazers playing Pythons in a Division Two match at 6.30 followed by Republic Bank Arrows against Celtics in Division One at 8 pm.
