TTOC Olympic Week in Tobago

The Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) will begin their Olympic Week celebrations tomorrow  with their  inaugural Olympic Relay Run in Tobago to be hosted in conjunction with the Tobago House of Assembly and Sportflex beginning at Market Square, Scarborough. The run precedes the TTOC’s celebration of Olympic Day with the Trinidad leg of the race running off on June 26 around the Brian Lara Promenade and begins at 4pm following a march past of teams at 3.45 pm.

Cash prizes, certificates and special Athens Olympic tokens will be given to all participants in the relay runs which will be attended by Olympians past and present. During the TTOC’s Olympic Week, TTOC Olympic Campers will make presentations in their schools, registration for the 2004 Olympic Youth Camp begins on July 3 and all affiliates of the TTOC are reminded to organise their membership in order for them to be part of the ground breaking event.
