Coaching School serve notice
ST CLAIR’S Coaching School served notice they intend to win a fourth consecutive Warner’s Group of Companies Premier League title in the Tobago Football Association, when they easily swept past Pepsi FA Cup holders Biwater Stokelyvale 5-1 to wrest the Charity Shield in the league opener. Kareem Robley rifled in a shot in the 17th minute to put Coaching School in the lead in Sunday’s game at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet, only for Darren Joseph to grab an equaliser in the 43rd. But any hope Stokelyvale nurtured was quickly dispelled as Macimba George, then Keon Daniel, Joel Cowan and Ronnie Alfred added further goals to the scoreline for Coaching School, now being coached jointly by George Joseph and Urinton Samuel, with team founder and coach Bertille St Clair now in charge of the national team.
Earlier at the same venue, Biwater Stokelyvale shut out Carib FC 3-0 in a National Super League game, with double goals from Curtis Job in the 23rd and 38th, while Devon Leacock got the other in the 28th. Coaching School will tackle Bethel United at Mt Gomery, when Premier League action gets underway. Promoted Mason Hall Police Youth Club will make their debut to the Premier League against Biwater Stokelyvale tomorrow at the Canaan #2 ground. And in other games, Sidey’s meet Charlotteville Unifiers at Speyside, HV Milan take on 1976 FC Phoenix at the Dwight Yorke Stadium training ground and Georgia face Pepsi Hills United at Canaan #1 ground.
