Dangerous signpost at Arouca

THE EDITOR: Would someone in authority please do something about the signpost at the junction of Trincity Central Road and the Eastern Main Road, Arouca. This signpost is a major hazard as it is directly at eye level with the drivers of most vehicles, thereby obstructing visibility to any traffic approaching from the west of the Eastern Main Road. This site will continue to be affected by accidents, as most drivers must drive their vehicles at least five metres onto the Eastern Main Road, to be able to negotiate a clearance.
