Wrestlers in Skinner Park blood bath

IT was blood everywhere at Skinner Park, San Fernando, on Wednesday night, as wrestlers Carlitos Colon and Abdullah “The Butcher” took their long-standing feud into the stands. Dubbed the main bout on the night, Butcher after a few seconds pulled out his infamous kitchen fork and started to dig into the forehead of Colon. The 47-year-old Colon fell to the ground and while at the corner post his son, Eddie ran out and handed him a bottle. Colon proceeded to break the bottle on the post and started to return the favour to The Butcher. The 500-pound Butcher ran out of the ring and into the crowd followed by Colon who continued to punish his forehead.

Butcher broke free and fled into the stands with Colon in hot pursuit, and when he caught up to him, lashed out with a rubbish bin before the referee disqualified both men. Prior to this fight, Victor Jovica took only four minutes and six seconds to get rid of El Bronco. The man dubbed “Uncle Victor” used his famous figure-four to end the fight. However immediately after this battle, Rico Sauve entered the ring and together with Bronco they started to beat up Jovica. Jovica managed to escape, and later promised Sauve a re-match next month in Trinidad, and said he would put him to sleep and leave him in that state. Also in winners row was Eddie Colon and local giant “Thunderbolt” Williams.
