Republic b-ball at St Barb’s

THIS year’s 30th edition of the Republic Bank Laventille Basketball League will tip-off at the St Barb’s Basketball Court, corner Laventille and St Barb’s Road tomorrow, one week after the original date. Junior Minister of National Security and Laventille MP West Fitzgerald Hinds and Laventille MP East Eulalie James have been invited to attend. Champs Replacements will defend their crown against Celtics, Republic Bank Arrows and other teams. Arrows will play an exhibition match against an area pick-up team in the exhibition match to mark the opening.
