When wrong person is killed
THE EDITOR: Three years ago my very brief letter was published in the Newsday. It said simply: “The Government will take action against maxi taxis and pitbulls only when the ‘wrong’ person is killed.”
Recently an elderly woman was savaged by two pitbulls. The owner has not been charged and this matter is all but forgotten. This old lady apparently was not important. People continue to have pitbulls in their yards while children walk and ride in the area. I repeat my prediction: “. .. only when the wrong person is killed.”
