Tertiary Education Ministry holds seminar

The Ministry of Sci-ence, Technology and Ter-tiary Education invites parents/guardians, CXC graduates and unemploy-ed persons between the ages 16 and 50 to a seminar to discuss various programmes offered by the Ministry. The seminar will be conducted at Jerome Sant’s Hardware, Enter-prise, Chaguanas on Wed-nesday, August 4 at 12.30 pm. The courses include the HYPE programme, which helps youths prepare for employment; on-the-job training; an Asso-ciate degree in Applied Science (Criminal Justice and Police Science); an Associate degree in Ap-plied Science (foreign languages for business-Spa-nish); and an Associ-ate degree in Applied Science (Medical Techno-logy). The GATE programme, which is government as-sistance for tertiary tuition expenses, is also being offered. For further information interested persons can contact Mrs P Sant at 665-4438.
