Civic Centre on top in South

POINT Fortin Civic Centre have taken over at the top of the Petrotrin-sponsored Southern Football Association Super League. The “Black City” men whipped Rangers 4-1 at the weekend, while long-time leaders Petrotrin Pointe-a-Pierre stumbled to a 2-1 defeat by Barrackpore United. EARTH San Fernando Giants downed Ste Medeleine Strikers 6-1 with Makesi Bostic scoring four of the goals.  Bevil Constantine and Stephon Byer got the others. And Police beat Ocean View Samba Boys 3-1, while Kris Marketing X-Men whiped F & E Electrical Diamond United 4-2. Palo Seco got goals from Kirby Clement and Keston Marshall to hold Penal All Stars to a 2-2 draw, with Tony Nelson getting both for the Penal lads.
