Hang corrupt politicians

THE EDITOR: I  would like some space in your newspaper to express my view. Politicians of Trinidad and Tobago are corrupt and only think about themselves instead of the people. I would like to propose a law to be implemented in our country. As the saying goes, “Off with their heads.” If any politician is found guilty from any party in any form of corruption, send them to hang. Reason is that, when they are found in any corruption they are stealing from us, the people of the country. Not one person, but you and me. An oath should be taken before they set foot in office that they abide by this law. If this is never done we would always have a corrupt government.

I know the government makes the laws, however if the majority of people agree to this proposal then it could be implemented into the system as we the people own Trinidad and Tobago. I’m appealing for an organisation to launch a petition or a ballot for this law to be implemented. When an example is set that they, the politicians, are not allowed to steal from our country, then all the corruption shall come to an end.
