St Francois dump Paragon 5-2
EX-STRIKE SQUAD midfielder Marlon Morris continued his prolific form, finding the nets one more time to lead St Francois Nationals to a comprehensive 5-2 victory over Paragon, in the Media 21-sponsored Northern Football Association Premier League. Also getting goals for the lads from St Francois Valley Road in Wednesday’s game were Carl Swain, Andre Joseph, Jerry Jack and Marlon Bourne. Antonio Alleyne and Opae Adogwo got the Paragon consolation.
With two more first round games still to be played, St Francois hold a comfortable four-point lead over both Defence Force and Media Net Oriental, while Paragon languish at the bottom of the standings. Victor Arias’ goal stood up as the only one of the match for La Famille to eke out a 1-0 victory over Maraval Youth Academy. And in another game, Superstar Rangers edged Maple 2-1 to keep their mid-table position. Alvin Joseph scored both for Rangers, while Hyron Browne-Baptiste got the Maple goal.
