Bandits storm bar, rob patrons

BAR PATRONS liming late in Penal Thursday night were held up and robbed at gunpoint by bandits, police said yesterday. Reports indicate that around 1 am three persons were at Ramkarran’s Bar, at Syne Village, Siparia, when three men, one with a firearm, stormed in and announced a hold-up. The patrons were relieved of cash totalling $1,148, while some $2,000 was taken from the cash register. The bandits then escaped on foot. PC Jack of the Siparia CID is continuing investigations.
