Bad umpiring is overbearing

THE EDITOR: This is an open letter to the West Indies Cricket Board. I do hope that they are taking a long, long look at the position that we are in with the bad umpiring decisions we are constantly having, especially against the captain Lara. It is overbearing to look at. And nothing is being done about it. But if he tries to speak out about it, he is going to be fined. If we continue to let a bowler get credit for a wicket that is not really out then what are we doing to the game? We are constantly condoning wrong doing, that is why the game is at the stage it is now.

Let us stop this type of abuse and bring back the dignity of the game so young players would be encouraged to play. They are looking on at what is happening now and that is shameful, so I am begging please let us do something about it. It hurts to see what is going on. The players have rights and they should be able to speak out. Also let those so-called West Indian commentators take a page out of the English commentators, they speak well about their players all the time and ours just keep bringing down our players. Please help our players to do better in their game and stop ridicule!
