Acting PM: Manning enjoying himself

PRIME Minister Patrick Manning is in good health in Cuba and having a good time. This was disclosed yesterday by acting Prime Minister, Joan Yuille- Williams when she addressed a meeting of the Land Tenants and Ratepayers’ Association, at the Rudranath Capildeo Learning Resource Centre at Couva.

The acting Prime Minister told her audience: “Rest assured that he is in good health, good care, and all indications are that he should be with us in the wee hours of Thursday morning. Thank God for that.” The acting Prime Minister said Manning is being monitored daily and the last time she spoke with him, he sounded as though he was enjoying himself. Prime Minister Manning went to Cuba two weeks ago for the installation of a pacemaker to regulate his heartbeat.
