WASA flow to top in East

WASA Clean and White flowed into the lead in the race for the Arthur “Jap” Brown Trophy in the Emerald Apartments and Plaza-sponsored Eastern Football Association. This after holding previous leaders Falcon Crest to a 0-0 draw. Also on Wednesday at San Juan Secondary School Ground, beaten League Cup finalists BM Spurs again went under, this time a 3-0 shut out to East/West Coaching School who moved into third position. Alvin Guerrero, Mano John and Chevon Noreiga each scored one goal for the winners.


Joe Public won only their third match of the season when they whipped Malta Carib Alcons 4-2 at St Joseph Recreation Ground. Ellis Dyette, Daniel Blackman, Damian Rocke and Kestor Alexander scored one apiece for the Eastern Lions, while Steve Nanton and Ryan Walters replied for Alcons. League Cup winners Shoe Locker Young Hearts were held to a 3-3 draw by TSTT at Boundary Road. Wendell Alexander, Nigel Reyes and Jovica Bristol scored one each for the Telecommunications men, while Donovan Derrick, Damian Wilson and Keon Wilson got goals for the cup winners.
