Man shot while liming outside pub
A Marabella man was shot and two others injured while liming outside a San Fernando pub on Friday night. According to police, around 11.20 pm Glenroy Mat-thews was with friends outside the Diamond Palace Pub on Mon Chagrin Street, when a lone gunman walked up to him, shot him on his right leg and then began kicking Matthews about the body as he lay on the sidewalk.
Before escaping on foot, the enraged suspect turned the gun on the crowd and fired six random shots, striking two other persons. A passer-by re-portedly rushed Matthews to the San Fernando General Hospital, where he was treated and warded. He is now in satisfactory condition. Officers of the San Fernando CID are continuing investigations.
