Presentation College retain Central crown

PRESENTATION Chaguanas retained their Central Zone crown in the British Gas Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) yesterday after a crushing 18-0 win over Chaguanas Senior Comprehensive at the Presentation Ground. Carapichaima remained in second position after a 3-0 triumph over Union Claxton Bay at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva with a double from Jeremy Noel and one from Keron Smith.

And Marabella continued their excellent debut season with a 3-0 whipping of Tabaquite at the Marabella Ground, with a pair from Akim Marshall, in the 10th and 48th minutes, and another from A Campbell in the 40th. One match was contested in the sister isle Tobago, with Stephen Walters and Ezron Hinds netting two goals apiece to give Signal Hill a 4-2 win over Bishop’s at Shaw Park.
