Late goal keeps Unifiers on top
AN 85th minute goal by Kevin Chadband kept Charlotteville Unifiers atop the standings in the Warner’s Group of Companies-sponsored Tobago Football Association Premier League. The league leaders edged Biwater Stokelyvale 1-0, but were made to toil throughout Saturday’s game at Roxborough before the decisive goal. Unifiers now hold a four-point and one-game advantage over defending champions St Clair’s Coaching School who were idle on Saturday. Sidey’s moved up one notch after a similar 1-0 triumph over Pepsi Hills United at their Speyside “home” ground. Keno Gray scored the goal to break the deadlock and see Sidey’s move to fifth on the standing over Stokelyvale. Bottom clubs Bethel United and Hope Village Milan played to a 2-2 draw at Mt Gomery. Joel John and Mervyn McMillan got goals for Bethel, while Kevin Adams and Dillet Walters netted for Milan.
