London’s daughter tops SEA in Tobago
AFI LONDON, daughter of Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Orville London, was one the ten top SEA students in Tobago honoured last Friday. Afi tied with Helen Ammon for first place in Tobago in the SEA exam. The event, hosted by THA’s Division of Education in conjunction with bpTT, held their Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) awards function at the Division of Education, Milford Road, Scarborough.
Chief Secretary London commended bpTT for its consistent contribution to the development of the people of Trinidad and Tobago and thanked them for their donation of US$100,000 to assist with repairs to schools damaged by Hurricane Ivan. London also congratulated the SEA awardees and their parents, guardians, and teachers, for their hard work and commitment. However, he warned the students to be prepared for what he called “phase II of their journey,” which promised to be even more challenging than the previous phase.
