A prayer for Grenada

Dear Lord please stand side by side with the people of Grenada,
And assist them to rise above this terrible disaster
Take them in your arms oh Lord and be their redeemer
and shield them Father from hidden danger

Grant them comfort oh precious Lord and ease their pain,
And be their haven from falling rain
Bestow them strength and build them strong,
Along with courage so they will go on

Lift their burdens Lord and seize their fear,
And keep them in your shielding arms with love and care
Stop their teardrops from falling and ease their grief,
And let your helping hands be present to give them relief

Receive them Father and lead the way,
And lift them over troubled waters day by day
Forget them not as of this moment I plead unto you,
And let your guiding light my Lord take them safely through
