Crackshot Daniel leads TT to Carib shoot

TRINIDAD and Tobago Olympic shooter Cpl Roger Daniel heads a five-member team to this year’s Caribbean Cup Championships in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The national squad, with coach Brent Thomas, leaves today for the five-day shooting championships which begin tomorrow. Cpl Daniel will take aim at four titles — air pistol, free pistol, centre fire pistol and standard pistol.

Other members of the contingent are national air pistol gold medallist Laurell Warner and silver medallist Marsha Bullin-Jones, both of the Defence Force, Ian Cockburn who took the national silver medal behind Cpl Daniel and lone  rifleman Tankoor Sankar of the Coast Guard, who is the country’s gold medallist in rifle shooting.
