Teenager killed in Sea Lots

Roberts was killed hours after he was shot while liming with friends in Sea Lots.

According to reports Roberts and his friends were participating in a street party at about 11.30 am on Saturday when gunshots were heard. A few minutes later, Roberts was seen lying on the floor bleeding from his head. He was rushed to the Portof- Spain General Hospital in a critical condition.

He later died from his injury at about 6 pm.

When Newsday visited his Sea Lots home, his uncle Nigel Roberts said his nephew was a good boy who loved to play football. Roberts would have entered Form Three next month at the Mucarapo Senior Comprehensive School.
